Civic Beautification
The Chairperson for the Civic Beautification Committee and coordinates the volunteer participation for maintaining the garden areas at Rotary Park, the Bow Municipal Building, Old Town Hall, Gazebo and the Community Center, as well as the window boxes and urns at the Baker Free Library, the Gazebo window boxes and the planter barrels at both the Evans and Alexander Cemeteries.
Spring & Fall Cleanup
Rain or Shine! In mid April and Mid October the garden club volunteers gather for Spring and Fall cleanup of Rotary Park. Each time we are joined by a few members of Bow Men's Club and Bow Rotary as well as family members.
Pollenator Garden
In 2020, to coincide with Pollinator Week in June, several Club members met and plated a new Pollinator Garden. The new garden consists of Hypericum, Ninebark (Ginger), Miss Kim Dwarf Lilac, and Weigela (Fine Wine). A few of these are native New Hampshire shrubs.
Social Weeding
There's always weeds to do and our Club Member Beverly hit on a great idea.... Social Weeding! So we gathered, we weeded and we socialized.
